Panhandle Lynn

Panhandle Lynn is an award-winning singer-songwriter with a passion for Americana, folk, bluegrass, and old-time music. She is a multi-instrumentalist, mainly concentrating on the guitar, banjo, and harmonica. She was born and raised in California, where she worked as head wrangler on a ranch during the day and played in a popular coffeehouse duo with Cinder Jean in the evenings. They were involved in the Classic Concert Series and opened for such greats as Donovan, Dave Mason, and Al Stewart. Lynn has also been a busker for many years.

Lynn has played on the Lincolnshire folk scene for many years. She won the best performance prize at the prestigious Song For Lincolnshire, and has been a featured guest on BBC Radio Lincs. Her songs are regularly played on BBC's The Music.

After a forced hiatus from performing due to the pandemic, Lynn has relocated to the Calder Valley and is looking forward to making her mark in Yorkshire.

Lynn's music is heavily influenced by her American roots - her lyrical storytelling draws you in and evokes a bygone era filled with moonshine and murder.

"This girl has got it. I closed my eyes as I listened to her and could have been in the audience of the Grand Ole Opry... "

"The first time I saw Lynn was at a lovely folk club in Lincolnshire and she blew me away from the first chord. Lynn's songs, playing, and singing are first class. Combined with a beautifully warm and twinkly stage presence, she invites you in and delivers a memorable and enjoyable performance. If you see this lady once, you will want to see her again. She's quite simply brilliant!"

-Edwina Hayes

"Lynn has a distinctive and lovely style of vocals and storytelling. A must listen!"
