A Night to Remember

A great time was had by all last night in the Sutterton Village Hall. We gathered for an evening of music and remembering our local fellow musician, Graham Neish, who passed away last year. He was a lovely man and a mean accordion player who is greatly missed. Here is a photo of Graham, taken in the early 1970's. I only ever knew him with short grey hair so this came as a bit of a shock:

There were many performers, myself included, but the highlight of the evening was seeing Katie Abbott back in action. The last few years have been very hard on her. Katie's powerful voice and wide smile was a tonic for us all.

Huge thanks to Martin Browne, Liz Pagett, and all for organising the night. £270 was raised for the St John's Ambulance in remembrance of Graham.
