Winter is coming!

I had a lovely little break in Whitby meeting up with my good friend and songwriting partner Jenny Sturgeon. If you don't already know who she is, check out her website: http://www.jennysturgeonmusic.com/ She plays solo, as part of a duo, guests with Clype and as part of Salt House. She has one of the prettiest voices I have ever heard, and is such a lovely girl. If you have the chance to see her live, you must go see her! We managed to write two songs together, and then I wrote one on the way home in the car! The creative juices are flowing pretty strongly at the moment.

As winter sets in, I am focusing on folk clubs and pub gigs. I love the festival season, but the winter break is a welcome rest, a time for writing and learning, singing with friends in the pub, and cosy fireside sessions.
