Happy New Year!

2016 has been an exceptional year for me, though there seemed to be far too many people leaving us behind. I was lucky enough to celebrate the new year at a house party with Winter Wilson, Ray and Anna from Two Coats Colder, Sue and Roger Cook, and Pippa and Dan (a fantastic duo who I believe are as yet unnamed) and many other talented musicians. It was the perfect way to see out the old and see in the new.

I am looking forward to gigging even more in 2017. I am planning on recording the new CD in the first part of the year. Boo Hewerdine is a first rate producer/musician/songwriter and I am looking forward his ideas and what they will bring to my songs. We will be recording at The Hub studios in Cambridge, it will be my first time recording there. Boo has assured me that Chris Pepper is The Man and I will enjoy it all.

There are already many band gigs scheduled for the entire year, and I am currently working out my solo schedule. It's a bit late I know, but I plan on playing at least as much as last year, and hopefully even more. If you are interested in booking me for a gig, folk club, festival, etc., please do get in touch!
